Bifacial Solar Panels

Bifacial panels are highly dependent on installation and the surrounding surface. To get the most out of them, you need to allow light to hit the backside.

Ground-Mounted Systems: The most common application. When placed over light-colored ground or specialized reflective materials, they perform exceptionally well.

Commercial Flat Roofs: Best deployed on light-colored (e.g., TPO) roofs, using tilted mounts to reflect light onto the back of the panel.

Less Ideal for Flush Residential Roofs: If a panel is laid flat against a standard dark roof, the back will be blocked and will not generate additional power.
